LTP was recently asked to taste taste and review some of the Scout & Cellar clean crafted wines. Full disclosure, no compensation was received from this post review.
So what are Scout & Cellar wines you ask? Here is what we learned.
WHERE DOES CLEAN-CRAFTED WINE COME FROM?
They source Clean-Crafted™ wine from all over the world, creating and bottling wildly delicious wines with an authentic sense of place, working directly with growers and producers who embody Clean-Crafted Commitment® in their daily practices. We walk through the vineyards, visit the cellars, share meals together. The end result? Delicious wines. Better in the bottle. Better in your glass. Better for the planet.
The uniqueness of this brand offering is their commitment to creating a truly clean wine offering. After doing some research I learned that your average wines contain many synthetic chemicals per bottle. These particular wines by Scout & Cellar contain No added chemicals, No pesticides and No preservatives! Even better, they also have
No added sugars, No sulfates and No added mega purple dyes to stain your teeth!
LTP decided to put them to the test this past weekend. I’ll be honest, they taste great. We sampled, Dove Hunt Dog Chardonnay, Field House Pinto Noir, Gallivant Zinfandel and Middle Jane Merlot. The Merlot and the Chardonnay were my favorites, but all tasted very smooth. The reds are recommended to open and let breathe for 30 minutes or more before enjoying. The most noticeable difference to me was that after sampling a few glasses, eating dinner and going to bed, I did not wake up with a “wine head ache” that sometimes occur with drinking your average wines. These are certainly different. You need to try it for yourself to believe it!
