Honey Bunches of Oats Review & Giveaway!

March 3, 2016

Did you know it was just National Cereal Day?! I’ve been reading about how Millennials aren’t consuming as much cereal as their older generations did? How can this be when there are such yummy cereals out like Honey Bunches of Oats by Post?! Over at Lindsay’s Tea Party we definitely keep our cabinets stocked with cereals for all to enjoy!

Truthfully, here at LTP, this is one of my favorite cereals. It is sweet, it is crunchy, it has bunches of oats and a yummy honey flavor!

Here’s how Honey Bunches of Oats came about:

In 1986, Post employee Vernon J. Herzing began mixing together various Post cereals to create new ones, with his daughter Kimberly assisting as the official taste-tester. He was always searching for that perfect blend – the one that would light up his daughter’s eyes. And it was on a Saturday in 1989 when Kimberly took a bite of her father’s latest creation that Vern knew he had something special. That was the day Vern created Honey Bunches of Oats.

The foundation that Vern laid – one of always being fully committed to everything we do – is present to this day. It’s mixed right into our work culture. From the passion we feel every day as we walk through the doors of Building 29 (where Honey Bunches of Oats is made), to the joy of smelling and sampling fresh, warm bunches of granola as they come out of the ovens, to the pride of seeing our work actually sitting on grocery store shelves. Individually and collectively, all of us at Honey Bunches of Oats are dedicated to making the world a little more delicious.

Now we wanted to give 3 lucky LTP readers the chance to try these yummy cereals for themselves! Enter our rafflecopter contest below!
