Lindsay’s Tea Party loves Cirque Du Soleil and has been a longtime fan of the show! Now in 2015, Cirque is bringing it’s latest show, Varekai, to San Diego! CIRQUE DU SOLEIL PRESENTS VAREKAI IN SAN DIEGO

SAN DIEGO, CA (January 2, 2015) A dormant volcano, a mystical forest and an ancient prophecy… The adventure of Icarus begins. Deep within a forest, at the summit of a volcano, exists an extraordinary world-a world where something is possible. A world called Varekai.

The sky lets go a solitary young man, and the story of Varekai begins. Parachuted into the shadows of a magical forest, a kaleidoscopic world imbued with fantastical creatures, a young man takes flight in an adventure both absurd and extraordinary. On this day at the edge of time, in this place of pure and undiluted possibility, begins an inspired incantation to a life rediscovered and to a newly found wonder in the mysteries of the world and the mind.

The word Varekai (pronounced ver•ay•’kie) means “wherever” in the Romany language of the gypsies the universal wanderers. Directed by Dominic Champagne, this production pays tribute to the nomadic soul, to the spirit and art of the circus tradition, and to those who quest with infinite passion along the path that leads to Varekai.

Show Details
Varekai, Cirque du Soleil’s latest arena touring production, will perform in San Diego at the Valley View Casino Center from February 25 – March 1, 2015 for seven performances only.

2 tickets will be provided to winner chosen at random that completed mandatory entry and subsequent bonus entries. Winner will be notified via email and must be claimed within 48hrs or a new winner will be chosen. Tickets are for one evening only, February 25th at 7pm.
