AT&T has a new array of family friendly products I am excited to share with you! I recently attended a “Moms in the Media” luncheon hosted by AT&T at the Cusp Restaurant in the Hotel La Jolla.
We learned about a bunch of fabulous new products that AT&T has out in stores now that help busy Mom’s with everyday life! Here at Lindsay’s Tea Party we are always looking for ways to support and empower Mom’s to tackle their busy days. Check out this list below and I will highlight some of our “top picks”!
Here are some of the featured items we saw and loved/see * for LTP’s “Top Picks”:
*FiLIP
AT&T’s FiLIP is an award-winning colorful, wearable phone and smart locator for kids and is available at select San Diego AT&T stores and online. Engineered for fun, FiLIP lets kids explore, discover, and play while still keeping everyone connected. With FiLIP, moms can easily stay in touch with their children with the push of a button, giving parents peace of mind. Available for $199.
-LTP would like to point out this is for younger children (with smaller wrists). This provides another way for parents to keep in touch with children without a traditional handheld cell phone.
*AmberAlert
The Amber Alert GPS® Smart Locator enables parents and caregivers of two- to ten-year-old children to stay connected through GPS location awareness and two-way mobile voice communications. Amber Alert GPS provides location tracking, using the combined power of AT&T’s network and built-in GPS for location identification. Now you can see where your children are, where they’ve been and for how long, all from your smartphone, tablet or computer. Available for $129.
-LTP likes the versatility of being able to slip this into your child’s backpack or glovebox of car even. Can also track car speed and other hot point notifications.
*Samsung Galaxy Mega
With little ones running around, mom needs all the help she can get to stay productive. With the Samsung Galaxy Mega, she can have a device that combines both a smartphone and a tablet, helping her stay organized at home and on the go. With access to AT&T’s 4G LTE speeds plus an easy-to-carry design, this device is the perfect partner for a moms busy life. Free with 2-year contract and instant online discounts at ATT.com.
*Belkin Chef Stand
A mother’s hands are always full and one less thing to worry about makes all the difference. With AT&T’s Chef Stand + Stylus, moms will have an easy way to create delicious dinners for the family without having to fumble through cookbooks or worry about touching the device with messy hands. The Chef Stand’s wand allows you to follow recipes and browse the Internet without every laying a finger on your screen. Available for $40 with free online shipping at ATT.com.
-LTP is in LOVE with this Chef Stand! It’s my new favorite gift to give! How perfect is this for all your recipes in the kitchen!?!
Digital Life
Digital Life lets people monitor and manage home security and energy systems from afar using a smartphone, computer, or tablet. AT&T provides and installs Internet-connected cameras, along with sensors on doors and windows, and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, door locks, thermostats, and moisture sensors. The devices and sensors are all hooked up to a home broadband connection and can be controlled from a computer or mobile device. The Digital Life application is available on most browsers and there are mobile apps for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone devices, AT&T said. Full CNET aticle here.

AT&T has a launched a campaign called, “It Can Wait”….
‘It Can Wait’ is AT&T’s national program, with the goal of educating all wireless users on the risks of texting while driving. AT&T is committed to putting an end to this dangerous behavior and our message is simple, yet vital: When it comes to texting and driving, It Can Wait®. LTP encourages all of its readers to wait and text once your car is no longer in motion for your safety and the safety of those around you or in the vehicle with you.
