Lindsay’s Tea Party is officially in the Christmas holiday spirit after a family fun day at the beautiful Hotel Del Coronado! Have you heard about their newest attraction just in time for the holidays? It’s called, “DeLights” and it features a light show to music set on a frozen white mountain! It’s fun to watch at night with the starry sky back drop and yummy hot cocoa and Christmas cookies are close by for fun and festive treats! 

 

 

 

 

While you are there, one of my most favorite things to do during the holidays in San Diego is the Hotel Del “Skating by the Sea”! Where else in the world can you ice skate only feet from the Ocean and sand?! 

My family enjoyed it immensely and all the proceeds go to charity! Here are the full skating details below for your quick reference.

Skating by the Sea on Coronado

Skating by the Sea returns to Hotel del Coronado for the 11th year from Thanksgiving day, November 26, through January 7. This spectacular ice rink is located seaside on Windsor Lawn and features stunning views of the Pacific and Coronado beach.

Minted recently released their fabulous line of holiday cards!

It’s now only October, and Lindsay’s Tea Party already has all it’s Christmas cards printed and finished thanks to Minted! My cards arrived wrapped in bubble wrap, safe and secure. The font is crisp, the colors are bright and the cardstock is heavy (my favorite). We’re talking about the new “dry bars”. Have you been? We checked out a local favorite in La Jolla, CA, over at Blow Pop Dry Bar! From the second you walk into the studio, the friendly staff immediately offers you a beverage, anything from a Mimosa, to a glass of champagne to a cold glass of water, whatever you are in the mood for!

The atmosphere is fun, upbeat and makes you feel young again (if you aren’t already).. LOL, great music is playing in the background, various shows or movies are featured on large flat screens throughout the room and large mirrors so you can see what is being done during your visit.

You are given a “Look Book” to select your hairstyle preference..anything from straight, to soft waves to curls to braids or even updo’s!

This spot is the perfect special event or pampering experience. Your stylist swiftly and professionally can take your hair from a “day to night” in a pinch or as you are getting ready for a special party or occasion.

The salon is very clean, and the stylists have a great knowledge of various hair types and styles.

Also, available in the salon is personalized make-up applications. This is can be a vast as including lash extensions and full face make up or as minimal as just a touch up before you go. The technicians are excellent at matching your eye color and skin shades and making you look your very best!
