Summer BBQ’s, outdoor picnics, or just gathering with friends. It’s time to raise your glass to Summer! Lindsay’s Tea Party just had the privilege of participating in the Fresh & Easy Taste Live Event and we tasted three light, refreshing and delicious summer varieties that just hit the shelves at your local Fresh & Easy stores (PS for my Ramona Tea Party followers, we are getting a Ramona Fresh & Easy later this year next to Big 5 in town) Yay!. Their top wine expert, Richard Wherry, led the conversation while offering great wine tips and food parings for us all to enjoy. For those of you on Twitter, Hashtag: #freshandeasywine
Suggested Wines to taste this Summer:
Charonge – Under $10 (Bring a bottle to your next party or gathering for the host).
A wonderful marriage between Chardonnay and orange, this wine has a blissfully citrus flavor profile, a perfect complement to any summertime white fish dishes and salads. Best served chilled.
I heart CA Red Blend – Under $5 (Wow!)
This fruity red blend has aromas of cherries and plums, with flavors of blackberry jam and a hint of toasted oak. Serve at room temperature and enjoy with a barbecued ribeye steak or your favorite pasta dish.
Big Kahuna Sangria – Under $5 (Can’t beat this inexpensive option)
Our sangria is a refreshing blend of ripe citrus fruits and juicy red wine. Add sliced oranges, strawberries, or melon and serve cold over ice.
Cheers, Salud, clink, clink and enjoy!
