Welcome to Monster High! Lindsay’s Tea Party knows what the kids are watching and “Welcome to Monster High” is going to be your child’s next favorite show to watch! The great thing about movie is that you get to see how it all began! How Monster High was created.

Here is the Welcome to Monster High scoop: Monsters once lived in hiding—even from each other—because they were afraid they would be in danger if humans knew they existed. But Draculaura™, the daughter of Dracula, along with her best ghoulfriends, dreamt of a school where everyone was welcome and accepted for who they are. Determined to make their dream come true, the ghouls travel the world on an epic adventure to recruit new students.

But even in this amazing place, there’s drama: a villainess zombie is spreading trouble rather than friendship, and every student must live with the fear that their secret will be revealed.

Now the ghouls must save their school so that every monster has a place where they belong and their uniqueness is celebrated!

My daughters have two favorite characters: Lagoona Blue and Draculaura! Both have a keen fashion sense. My youngest daughter loves the mermaid-esque features of Lagoona and my older daughter loves the hair style of Daculaura and her history! Draculaura has an adoptive vampire Father and she has a unique pet bat!

Lagoona Blue has a favorite color of Ocean Blue and she loves to eat Sushi. She breathes underwater and gets dry skin when on land too long. What child doesn’t dream of breathing underwater!?! So cool!

My girls enjoyed the movie and asked to watch it again, immediately after. So grab some snacks and it’s time for your children to have a movie night with Welcome to Monster High!

Welcome To Monster High™ hits theaters for one day only on Saturday, August 27, at 10 a.m. (local time) in select theaters via Fathom Events. Get there at 9:30 a.m. for a pre-show party which includes a monster of a dance tutorial with superstar choreographer Matt Steffanina and a too-cool-for-school monsterfied make-up tutorial. Here’s a hint: Stay after the movie for a surprise after the credits. Audiences will get a sneak-peek at the newest member of Monster High™, a character and doll inspired by the Mother Monster herself, Lady Gaga. Plus, get a behind-the-scenes look at the partnership between Monster High™ and Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation. #KindMonster
