Choose the Choosy Chick! ~ Giveaway!

February 13, 2015

Lindsay’s Tea Party has young children and boy do we know how tough it is to find one product that fits all for your family! One has dry skin, one is allergic to sunscreen, one hates when lotions smells, on and on… then add to the mix that we want to use products that are safe, chemical free and gentle on my child’s precious skin or body! I am so thankful to have recently found The Choosy Chick!  Check this out!300x250-the-choosy-chick-ad lowres (2)

We believe toxins have no place in personal care products. We’re committed to researching ingredients and selecting the finest non-toxic health and beauty products you and your family deserve. Our high standard for quality and safety is reflected in the products we proudly represent.

This is so comforting to Moms everywhere! A company that is a one-stop shop that provides everything from hair to make up products to bath/body and face care needs. They even have a special section for babies/kids and Guys! Yep, those men in our lives need products too from time to time!

Recently, I had the chance to test out some of these fabulous natural and safe products on my family.

Angel Baby LotionJack n’ Jill ToothpasteECO Tint Stick SPF 30Avocado and Oatmeal Soap

Naturally Fab Gift SetLip ButterMineral Lip Tint & ShimmerGiggle Fest Sponge

We enjoyed testing out each of the all natural products. My daughter loved the sparkle shimmer on the Badger lip gloss. I loved that it was made of 100 percent natural ingredients. My son loved the sea sponge and thought it looked like a real sea creature! LOL. My other daughter immediately stole the Sparklehearts lotions and bath products, they smell amazing and are perfect for grab n go travel bags! I was hooked on the all natural chemical free sunscreen by Raw Elements, I am allergic to most sunblock products and this is one I can use! It glides on easily and has no color additives. I also tried the oatmeal and avocado soap and it was luxurious on my skin. The Jack N Jill toothpaste is great for toddler training and she even said it tasted good! For busy Mom’s I loved the new product line they feature from DNUNIK, it’s an age defying face cream that helps hydrate your skin, made in France, it’s soft and luxurious and applys so smoothly!Age-Defying Day Cream   Folks, look no further…why spend time running around from store to store when you can just choose ….

One source for toxin free personal products sounds like a dream come true. I’ve been eliminating toxins one product at a time in our household, so this will definitely come in handy. Thanks!

We also try to use natural products and are sensitive to scents. I see a few brands we know and love, plus some new ones. Thanks for the introduction to them!

An age defying and hydrating face cream or sunblock are two items I have yet to find a good natural product replacement for. Sounds fantastic!

Lip Balm and sunblock. I don’t even know if there is a sunblock that doesn’t have chemicals in it.

I love that The Choosy Chick has done all the leg work to help us switch over to personal care items without toxins. This started to be on my radar after attending Shift Con last fall and we have been steadily switching over! I hear the Jack & Jill toothpaste is especially good if you have toddlers. I find it is difficult to find eye creams and serums for younger looking skint hat don’t have a bunch of harsh chemicals – so that will be my first thing to look at on their site!

Natural makeup is very difficult for me to find locally. I do not live in a very populated area and we do not have access to a Whole Foods, etc. Our local co-ops/natural food stores do not carry much in the way of natural makeup. I purchase nearly all of my natural/organic cosmetics online.

The hardest thing for me to find is chemical free sunblock because it either turns white or it’s full of chemicals.

I find that it’s the hardest for me to find a natural concealer as the shade match is always an issue.
