We’re talking about the new “dry bars”. Have you been? We checked out a local favorite in La Jolla, CA, over at Blow Pop Dry Bar! From the second you walk into the studio, the friendly staff immediately offers you a beverage, anything from a Mimosa, to a glass of champagne to a cold glass of water, whatever you are in the mood for!
The atmosphere is fun, upbeat and makes you feel young again (if you aren’t already).. LOL, great music is playing in the background, various shows or movies are featured on large flat screens throughout the room and large mirrors so you can see what is being done during your visit.
You are given a “Look Book” to select your hairstyle preference..anything from straight, to soft waves to curls to braids or even updo’s!
This spot is the perfect special event or pampering experience. Your stylist swiftly and professionally can take your hair from a “day to night” in a pinch or as you are getting ready for a special party or occasion.
The salon is very clean, and the stylists have a great knowledge of various hair types and styles.
Also, available in the salon is personalized make-up applications. This is can be a vast as including lash extensions and full face make up or as minimal as just a touch up before you go. The technicians are excellent at matching your eye color and skin shades and making you look your very best!
