TK Photo 1If you line up 3 families, surely each will be able to tell you how drugs affected them personally or someone that they know personally. Drugs are everywhere! As much as we want to pretend that they don’t affect normal, everyday families, the fact is, they do! Yet, I will be the first to say, there is still this stigma that you really don’t want to talk about when you hear someone is “using drugs” or “on drugs”, it’s just an awful feeling all around. Your heart hurts for that person, for the families affected, for the loss that all those around them endure.
Recently, Lindsay’s Tea Party was asked to attend a meeting for a new product called, “Touch&Know”. Being that our family has experienced the tragic loss of family member to drugs, I immediately wanted to know more. Any products that help families gain knowledge (power) to dealing with a teen or family member that is using, can only help the situation, sooner rather than later.  Take a look at this video clip, it explains how discreetly you are able to test a substance that you may suspect as being drugs without personally involving the potential user.
Touch&Know is a home test kit that enables you to positively identify the presence of illegal or controlled drugs in powder or liquid form and it even tests for designer drugs like bath salts. The product is 99% affective and 100% safe.  Only a very small amount of substance is needed for the test. Results are immediate and no urine or hair is used. @TouchnKnow

If you are familiar with the current drug testing process, you may know that urine tests are easily cheated. Users can easily go online within minutes learn how to cheat an upcoming urine drug test. This test also does not test for as many types of drugs (tests only 12) as Touch&Know (tests 22).
Check out this next video clip which shows how to deal with identifying a user with a drug substance.
Touch&Know is used by law enforcement throughout the world and is the first-of-its-kind available at retail. I personally saw this product at Walgreens. It’s retails for $19.99 however I recently learned it will be going on sale for only $14.99 in April.
What is interesting to me about this product is that it allows you to test the “substance” not the “relationship” that you have. For example, if you suspect that a substance is possibly a drug, you check first with this kit, then approach with the person with factual evidence that was found. Drugs tear families apart, in fact they tear lives apart. Over 10 years ago our family lost a loved one to drugs and the pain never goes away. Products such as Touch&Know that help families, parents, people in general, hold their loved one’s accountable for their actions, is a good thing. Sometimes just knowing is half the battle. Step 1 is often “identifying the problem”, and this kit clearly helps people know what they are dealing with and in a quick and inexpensive manner. TK photo 3
